GE3K TV

Back in the day, if you wanted to watch TV, you needed a television set. Nowadays, this is no longer the case because an internet-enabled computer, with the right piece of software, can prove to be a good replacement for the traditional TV (and a few other electronic devices as a matter of fact). The right piece of software in this situation is GE3K TV, a free internet television program that provides access to more than 90 channels from all over the world. Install the application on your PC and you can watch TV without the need for a television set.

It will take but a moment to have GE3K TV up and running on your Windows PC. It’s nothing more complicated than downloading a small installation file onto your PC, running it, and following the instructions presented by a setup wizard. Once GE3K TV is installed on your PC, you can use the application for free for as long as you want.

The GE3K TV interface looks like the interface of a minimal media player: there’s a window at the top that plays media, and there are playback buttons right beneath it. If you right click the media window, you can access the Options menu.

You must use the two dropdown menus in the bottom part of the interface to start watching TV with the GE3K TV application. From the dropdown menu to the left, you must select a category: News, Educational, Music, Sports, Religious, Movies, Kids. Then, from the dropdown to the right, you must select a station. You can, for example, select Music from the menu to the left, then Argentina Music Channel from the right; the channel will start playing once buffering completes. Double click media window to go to full screen.

There are many channels to go through. As you browse through them and you find one that you really like, you can Favorite it. Just click the Add button under Favorite in the bottom right hand corner and the channel will be added to your list of favorite channels. The downside is that during our tests, the favorites list was reset every time we closed the application. We added channels to the favorites list, closed the application, and when we restarted it, the list was empty.
